Cost Ledger is operated by LeanAI Studio S.r.l., whose full statutory details appear in the footer of every page on this site.

The free Margin Check

The Margin Check is free to use, with no account and no usage limit. It runs in your browser and we neither receive nor retain the data you put into it.

The subscription

A Cost Ledger subscription is $49 per month per business, billed monthly through Stripe, with no annual commitment and no setup fee. It renews monthly until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from inside your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current paid month runs to its end.

This is a new product being tested with its first users. If it does not do what this site says it does, email dario@leanaistudio.com and you will be refunded without a process and without being asked to justify it.

What the output is, and is not

Cost Ledger performs arithmetic on figures you supply. Its output is a management estimate to help you look at your own jobs. It is not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice, it is not a substitute for your accountant or your books of account, and it must not be relied on for any statutory filing. The accuracy of every figure it produces depends entirely on the accuracy of what you enter, including the burdened hourly cost, which the tool cannot verify.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of Cost Ledger is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Acceptable use

Do not use Cost Ledger to break the law, to upload data you have no right to hold, or to attack the service or other users. We may suspend an account that does, and will tell you why.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that affects you materially, we will email the address on your account before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance.
