The Margin Check never sends us your jobs

The free tool on the home page runs entirely in your browser. Your pasted rows, the CSV file you choose, your hourly cost and every figure computed from them stay on your device. There is no upload route behind that tool, so there is nowhere for them to go. You do not have to take this on trust: open your browser network tab and run a check.

We therefore never see, store or process your job data unless you sign in and choose to save it to a workspace.

If you create a workspace

Signing in with your email replaces the sentence above for the data you choose to save. On our servers we then store:

• your email address, so you can sign back in;
• the jobs and margin runs you save to the workspace;
• if you subscribe, your billing status through Stripe. We never see or store card details.

Workspace data is private to your account and is never shared with other users or sold to anyone.

Separately from any account, we keep daily counts of how many people asked for a sign-in link and how many confirmed one. Those counts hold no personal data: no address, no identifier, nothing that points back to a person.

Deleting everything

You can permanently delete your account and every piece of workspace data attached to it from inside the product, or by emailing dario@leanaistudio.com. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Your email is used only to send sign-in links and to reply to you.

Analytics

We use anonymous product analytics to count page views and see which parts of the tool get used. No analytics tag loads before you are asked, if you are in a region where we ask. Nothing we send to an analytics service contains a figure from your jobs.
